If we work hard, nothing is impossible

“My name is Chhiring Yangji Sherpa. I am a student of grade 12 studying Science subject in Little Angels’ College situated in Hatibhan, Lalitput. I was born in Lukla which is one of the rural district of Nepal. As this is touristic place my family runs a small lodge as their occupation. I had grown up in Lukla and completed my school level from Chaurikharka School. I have passed SLC from Mahendra Jyoti Higher Secondary School scoring 77.8%.

In my experience though, this school is located at remote areas, it is providing a quality education to the students. The way of teaching and the environment of this school are very effective that a student can achieve his/her goal easily here so I do appreciate this school.

It was a difficult challenge to study in English medium at Little Angels’ College after studying 10 years in Nepali medium. But if we work hard nothing is impossible. I passed class 11 Board Exam in distinction 83.8% I hope to pass grate 12 board exam in distinction too. For this I would like to thank my English teacher at Chaurikharka School who made our base in English good that I found no difficulties in studying in English medium at all.

Saying so, it is a great financial support and also a great honor to have a scholarship from Himalayan Trust. It has given a message that if the students work hard he/she can deserve a prize. The scholarship has encouraged us to give more motivation in our studies.

My aim in future is to be a good cardiologist and play a role of making Nepal free from heart disease. So I hope Himlayan Trust will help us further study as well. Lastly from the core of my heart, I would like to extend my thanks for all the support I received during my schooling.”
