Join friends of the Himalayan Trust UK to listen in awe to Kenton Cool on Thursday 8 June at the Ninth Sir Edmund Hillary Memorial Lecture at the Royal Geographical Society in London. Kenton is the finest alpine climber of this generation and an engaging motivational speaker, who delivers popular keynote speeches on all aspects of his many accomplishments in the outdoors. He relates with great vividness and emotion the experience of summiting some of the world’s highest mountains.
Kenton has summited Everest twelve times and is the first person in history to have climbed the three Everest peaks – Everest itself, Lhotse and Nuptse – the so-called Triple Crown, in a single push – a feat previously thought impossible.
The evening will also provide the Trust with an opportunity to give an insight into it’s valuable education and health work in Nepal and its “Build Back Better” campaign following the devastating earthquake of 2015.
