Vertical Journeys: From the Peak District to Everest and Antarctica

Climber, adventurer, explorer.  From the Peak District’s grit, via the footsteps of Mallory, to Ulvetanna’s Antarctic summit, Leo Houlding is Britain’s modern face of adventure, and is among the top climbers in the world. A specialist in free climbing and fearless base jumper, Leo takes the ultimate in extreme sports to the most extreme environments.  He is also a gifted and inspirational speaker, so this will be an exciting evening!

ALeo Houldingll proceeds from the Lecture will go towards the work of The Himalayan Trust UK.  A Trustee will give a brief, illustrated account of a recent journey to Taplejung, the remote and beautiful district below Kanchenjunga, to visit schools currently supported by the Trust.
